Selamat Hari Malaysia

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera
Selamat Hari Malaysia semua....apa tu Hari Malaysia ya? Tentu ramai yang dah tau...tetapi bagi yang belum tau, umi kongsikan sedikit info berkenaan Hari Malaysia yang umi ambil dari laman http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysia_Day

Malaysia Day is held on September 16 every year to commemorate the establishment of the Malaysian federation on the same date in 1963. It marked the joining together of Malaya, North Borneo, Sarawak, and Singapore to form Malaysia. The formation of the new federation was planned to occur on June 1, 1963, but was later postponed to August 31, 1963, in order to coincide with the sixth Hari Merdeka. Several issues related to the Indonesian and the Filipino objection to the formation of Malaysia delayed the declaration to September 16 of the same year. The postponement was also done to allow the United Nations team time to conduct referendums in North Borneo (now Sabah) and Sarawak regarding the two states participation in a new federation.[1]

The formation of Malaysia was made possible through the introduction of the Malaysia Bill to the Malayan Parliament on July 9, 1963, and consent from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on August 29, 1963.[1]

Prior to the formation of Malaysia, Sarawak gained its independence on July 22 1963 while Singapore and North Borneo (which was renamed Sabah) unilaterally declared independence from the United Kingdom on August 31, 1963, thus coinciding with the sixth anniversary of the Malayan independence.

Beginning year 2010, September 16 is a federal public holiday.[2] It coincides with the birthday of the Yang di-Pertua of Sabah.

Begitu lah serba sedikit penerangan mengenai hari Malaysia, jadi sekurang2nya boleh kita terangkan kepada anak2 kita nanti...ini juga sebagai rujukan umi buat anakanda umi nazirah dan ahnaf akan datang...

Hari ini umi nak kongsi resepi lontong, salah satu resepi orang johor dan kegemaran umi dan adik bongsu umi, yang dimakan dengan kuah kacang atau sambal bilis

Apa yang diperlukan?

Nasi Impit - rebus dan sejukkan
Telur - direbus dan dikupas kulitnya

Bahan Kisar
  • 5 ulas bawang merah
  • 3 ulas bawang putih
  • 3 batang serai
  • 1 inci lengkuas
  • 2 cm kunyit hidup - umi guna kunyit serbuk
  • 100gm udang kering - rendam dulu biar lembut
  • 2 inci belacan

Bahan Lain
  • 1 kiub ikan bilis
  • garam secukup rasa
  • 200ml santan
  • Air secukupnya

Bahan Sayuran
  • 5 tangkai kacang panjang - potong 1 inc
  • 200 gm kubis - dihiris kasar
  • 3 keping tauhu lembut - dipotong dan digoreng
  • 2 keping tempe - potong dadu dan digoreng
  • 200gm suun - rendam hingga lembut
  • 1 batang lobak merah - potong memanjang
  • 5 biji cili merah - dipotong serong
  • 3 biji kentang - dipotong memanjang

Jom Cuba!

  1. Tumiskan bahan kisar dgn minyak hingga naik bau.
  2. Setelah terbit minyak masukkan santan. Masak dan biarkan hingga mendidih (kacau selalu supaya santan tak pecah minyak)
  3. Masukkan kuib ikan bilis dan garam secukup rasa.
  4. Masukkan bahan sayuran, mulakan dgn kacang, lobak merah, kentang, tempe, tauhu, suun dan kubis. Biar hingga masak.
  5. Hidangkan bersama nasi impit dan telur rebus. Umi makan dengan sambal ikan bilis atau sambal kacang.
